Dr. Winnie N. A. Sowah
Dr. Winnie N. A. Sowah is a marine scientist and lecturer at the University of Ghana's Department of Marine and Fisheries Sciences. Her passion for ocean conservation fuels her research on aquaculture development, fisheries management, and the impact of invasive species. Dr. Sowah also explores the potential of genetics to improve aquaculture and fisheries practices. Beyond academia, Dr. Sowah is an adventurer at heart. She enjoys getting lost in a good book, exploring new places through road trips and travel, and unwinding with music and movies.
Dr(Mrs) Ruby Asmah
Dr(Mrs) Ruby Asmah is a Principal Research Scientist and the Deputy Director of the CSIR-Water Research Institute. She is also a Member of the governing Board of the Fisheries Commission. Her area of research is sustainable aquaculture development and environmental management. She has served on various local and international technical committees offering expert advise on aquaculture related matters. She has traveled widely on missions and several scientific publications to her credit.
Issaka Lawerh Tetteh, PhD
Issaka Lawerh Tetteh, PhD. is an experienced management consultant with expertise in many sectors including automotive, mining, education, and aquaculture. He has passion for protecting the environment and finding solutions to African problems. Issaka is a co-founder of the Chamber of Aquaculture Ghana and currently serves as the Research Director of the organisation.
